Geraint John

Geraint John is a freelance business writer, editor and communications consultant based in London. He is a well-known commentator and speaker on strategic procurement and supply chain issues globally.

Until June 2009 he was the editor-in-chief of CPO Agenda, the international business review for chief procurement officers and senior purchasing executives in larger organisations. Geraint created and launched the title in March 2005. It is published quarterly on subscription by Redactive Media Group in partnership with the UK's Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS).

Geraint has been covering the procurement and supply chain arena for 10 years, initially as editor and then editor-in-chief of Supply Management, CIPS's fortnightly magazine. Prior to that he was deputy editor of People Management, the UK's market-leading magazine for HR professionals.

His educational achievements include a postgraduate diploma in periodical journalism from City University, London, and a BA (Hons) in economics and politics from the University of Warwick. He is married with two sons and lives in west London.
